OSCAR 2011
Ολοκληρώθηκε χθες Κυριακή 27 Φεβρουαρίου (ξημερώματα Δευτέρας 28/2 για την Ελλάδα) στο Kodak Theatre του Los Angeles, η 83η απονομή των βραβείων Oscar με παρουσιαστές τους ηθοποιούς James Franco και Anne Hathaway.
Μεγάλος νικητής της βραδιάς ήταν η Βρετανική ταινία The King’s Speech -που είχε άλλωστε και τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες (12) φέτος- η οποία κέρδισε το Oscar καλύτερης ταινίας, καλύτερης σκηνοθεσίας (Tom Hooper), καλύτερου α'ανδρικου (Colin Firth) και καλύτερου πρωτότυπου σεναρίου (David Seidler). To μεγάλο φαβορί The Social Network -η περιβόητη "ταινία για το Facebook"- κέρδισε τα βραβεία καλύτερου διασκευασμένου σεναρίου (Aaron Sorkin), καλύτερης μουσικής (Trent Reznor) και καλύτερου μοντάζ, ενώ τέσσερα βραβεία (τα λεγόμενα "τεχνικά") κέρδισε και το -για πολλούς αδικημένο λόγω της απουσίας του Christopher Nolan από την πεντάδα καλύτερων σκηνοθετών- Inception. O Γιώργος Λάνθιμος με τον Κυνόδοντα δεν κατάφερε να επικρατήσει στην κατηγορία του για το Oscar καλύτερης ξενόγλωσσης ταινίας, το οποίο απονεμήθηκε τελικά στο Δανέζικο In a Better World. Τέλος το Oscar α' γυναικείου απονεμήθηκε στην Natalie Portman για την ερμηνεία της στο The Black Swan, ενώ τα βραβεία β' ανδρικού και β' γυναικείου κέρδισαν οι ηθοποιοί του The Fighter Christian Bale και Melissa Leo
